Chocolate Chip Cookies

Although my children like the decorative cookies, 

they really go nuts over my chocolate chip cookies and other drop cookies.

I use a slight variation to the Original Nestle Toll House Cookie Recipe found right on the bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips: 

2 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup (2 sticks) of butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated white sugar

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

Chocolate Chip Morsels

The kids say that the cookies are soft enough in the center that they taste almost cake-like.
